Sue Martin

Sue Easley Martin, 84, of Pittsboro,  died Friday, January 30, 2015, at Bruce Community Living Center. Born Sunday, Nov. 2, 1930, in Calhoun county, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Easley and late Dora Parker Easley.  She was a member of Pittsboro Baptist Church, and was etired after 26 plus years as Deputy Tax Assessor. 

Surviving are son, Richard H. Martin, Bruce; daughter, Sandra Martin Sanders, Pittsboro; brothers, Hollie (Rita) Easley, Banner; Jimmy (Donna) Easley, Columbus, and Edgar L. (Bonnie Jo)  Easley, Bruce; sister, Maxine Wisenbaker, Houston, TX.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Hayden L. Martin; brother, William S. Easley, sisters, Ruth and Ruby Easley, and Myrtle Moore.

Her funeral service will be Sunday at 3 p.m.   at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with  Dr. Buford Usry officiating, assisted by Dr. Daniel Hathorne and Bro. Darrell Logan. Interment will be in Pittsboro Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Fred Bullard, Gayle Bullard, Andy Edwards, Keith Kellum, Bill Malone, and Forest Shoemaker. Honorary pallbearers will be Mallon Henry, Larry Starks, and Pittsboro Baptist Church Deacons.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m.  Sunday, February 1, 2015, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home, 476 Hwy. 9N, Bruce, Mississippi.
