FOR TOWN OF DERMA DEPOSITORY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all banks in Calhoun County, Mississippi, that the Board of Aldermen of Derma, Mississippi will receive sealed bids of proposals from the said banks up until the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the 4th day of August, 2020, for the privilege of keeping the Town of Derma’s funds or any part thereof for the fiscal years 2020-2021 and 2021-2022, pursuant to Statutes of the State of Mississippi.
As per the Mississippi Code Annotated, the depository’s accounts must be insured by FDIC or any successor to that insurance corporation may qualify as a county depository if the institution qualifies as a public funds depository under 27-105-5 or public funds guaranty pool member under Section 27-105-5 and 27-105-6. The qualified financial institution shall secure those deposits by placing qualified securities on deposit with the State Treasurer as proivded for in Section 27-105-5.
1. Bidders shall state the rate of interest to be paid on the Town of Derma funds.
2. Bidders shall state the services offered to the Town of Derma without change.
3. Successful bidder will receive all invested funds by the Town of Derma.
