Praying for all in this cold weather

I’m really praying hard for everyone today. This weather has really been showing out.
It’s Monday as I’m writing this and the sleet is really coming down. Now it’s no secret that I am not happy with this winter stuff. I’m so ready for warm weather. I don’t do well being cooped up in the house.
I love the outdoors. My favorite spot is my porch. I will admit that it is kind of pretty. We just came out of quarantine from covid and now we’re stuck back inside because of the weather.

Emily is really getting restless. After she was released from covid, the school closed for 2 weeks. Now we’re not sure if she’ll be able to go back because of the roads.

We’re a very busy family so all this down time is tough. It’s crazy how the past year has changed for so many.
I guess I’m rambling on about it but I want everyone to know they we’re all in this together. We’ve all been impacted in so many ways. For those that are battling depression and loneliness, you’re not alone.
This is a good time to get your Bible out. One thing I’ve learned because I am so busy is that God slowed me down for a reason.
We get so caught up in our daily lives that I wonder if we’re making God priority.
We didn’t have church Sunday due to weather. I did watch a pretty good sermon on tv.

I didn’t catch all of it but it did make me reflect. God will take us down into the valley.
The valley is symbolic of our lows. We’re told to wake up and stand tall. We’re in dark days for sure but God is preparing us for battle. Not the battle between men, but spiritual battle. We need to wake up and stand tall for the Lord.
As I am writing this, I just got a message from the school that they’re not going back Wednesday and not sure about Thursday yet.
My prayer this week is that we stay strong. Many things are keeping us home and alone, but I do think it is for a greater good.

Take this time and open your bibles. Take this time to get suited up in the full armor of God.
Our country is in a bad place and this is the time for Christians to stand strong. Our weapon is the word of God.
