Nurse Nida Weaver could do it all
There have been better weeks around our house than this past one. AG had two cancers removed by his dermatologist, had him at his doctor’s office twice, was in the local ER Saturday night due to recent falls.
We were thankful that after scan and x-ray he only had contusion causing the pain with nothing serious showing up.

Prayers will be appreciated as we go on with this dreaded illness of memory loss.
On a brighter note, I want to send belated Happy Birthday wishes to a woman, friend, former co-worker that is the best of all and that is Nida Weaver.
She was the nurse at Doc’s (D. Farmer) and her daughter Diane Harrison worked for him when I was hired part time back in 1982.
Ones think they have it busy now, but no way are things done in the physician offices like when Nida was the nurse.
Besides doing x-rays she did all blood work that now is sent off to an outside lab.
So many good memories of working with Nida that I’ll have forever. So Nida, I only wish for many more birthdays for you in good health.
Calhoun County now, as of Sunday night, has a 470 count of positive Covid-19 cases.
Ten days ago it was 442 cases, meaning an increase of 28 in the past 10 days. Some of our friends, or family, have been very sick with it. Others are recovering but complaining of severe fatigue.
Please mask up. If you are getting what you think is a sinus infection, please stay away from others just in case you are in the early stage of the virus.
At least the state reported cases are dropping out of the thousands, but still range in the 500 to 600 count.
Another week with not much news, but I will gladly write any news you may have or know of.
Just contact me and you can leave a voice mail if I am not at home.
Prayers this week for Wayne Johnson, home recovering from surgery, Paul Morris, Tammy Sutherland, Jackie Peden, JR and Etta Denton, Alan Murphree, Ann Whitt,
Candy Huffman, James Tedder, Jimmy Coker, Betty Bradford, Wilma Gibson, Harold Tallent, Jeannie Gaspard, Wayne McMahan, Teresa Hardin, Bill Davis, Shirley Herrod, and Quay Wolfe.
