Most area events all just online
Daughter Gale and her husband Tommy Terry, Crystal Springs, MS came up last Tuesday to help me.
It was a difficult, emotional week, but I’m adjusting. Thank you all for the prayers given for me and AG.
Lately, with no events to write about it seems as though my prayer list for the sick is getting longer and longer.
Younger people are in ICU units, ones have died, heart attacks, Covid and it just keeps on and on. Not sure of an answer but prayers, mask and precautions are all we can do.
Congratulations to Isaac and Ariel (Keon) Seawall on the birth of their son Oliver Conrad Seawall. I understand there will be flights booked by grandparents in Bruce, Scott and Vonda Keon to be going to see their newest addition. I don’t blame them a bit.
Saw a notice that Calhoun City Elementary School is having school portrait day February 5. Proof cost is $2.
Searching for events that are held anywhere in our area, or surrounding area, I found one some may be interested in going to.
Over in Houston on Saturday, February 13 there is to be a Special Valentines Makers & Bakers Market. It will be downtown from 9 AM to 12 PM.
Just browse the market for last minute sweet and savory treats, honey, and arts and crafts.
Most other events were mostly all online. I hope soon, with the vaccines being given now, we will have more events that we can go to.
Prayers for so many that are having serious medical problems from the Covid virus and other medical issues.
This week please pray for Mark Lucius who has come home now to continue his recovery, Winnie Hawks, Wilma Gibson, Martha Bailey, James Tedder, Billy Doyle Alexander, Mike Winter, Paul Griffin, Alan Murphree, Ann Whitt, Sandra Parker, Henry Lee and Linda Taylor, and Jimmy Coker.
Sympathy and prayers of comfort to the families and friends of Tina Clanton, Iris Roane, Steve Harmon, Frances Goodson Terry, and Dewey “Radar” Orr.
They have gained their place in Heaven and are in no pain, but it is our loss. Comfort for all that knew and loved each one.
