Miss Turner to marry Mr. Nix on May 22

Kristi Reid of Bruce is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Janna Rae Turner, to Bailey Dawson Nix, son of Chris and Heather Nix of Pittsboro.
Janna is the granddaughter of Andy and Amy Reid of Bruce.
Bailey is the grandson of Nancy Barefield of Bruce and the late Smokey Barefield, and the late George and Charlsey Nix of Pittsboro.
Janna is a 2018 graduate of Bruce High School. She is currently attending Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine, pursuing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.

Bailey is a 2016 graduate of Bruce High School. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Mississippi State University in Agricultural Engineering Technology and Business. He is currently employed as a Soil Conservationist with USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service in Meridian.
The couple will exchange vows May 22, 2021 in Bruce at “The Retreat at Turkey Lake.”
