Liles will be at Teas’ clinic for few months

The past week for AG and I went by fine. Both had appointments at the Cardiac Clinic in Tupelo. AG’s appointment had to be changed but they went on and did the carotid ultra sound and it was good.
My doctor there is what they call an EP, meaning he deals with the electrical system of the heart. My report was good too and go back in 6 months.
Celebrated low key birthday on Friday and appreciated all of the best wishes and happy birthdays I received.
I have been blessed to be able to continue working and driving AG on his weekend rides. Mentioning rides, he and I drove Sunday afternoon over to Lake Village, Ark. Lake Chicot is a beautiful lake.

Lake Village is the last town in Arkansas that he and I lived in before coming to Mississippi. We weren’t hungry when we left so thought we would find a restaurant while on our ride.
Guess what? Unless you want to eat chicken or hamburgers you can forget it. We finally ate on the way back in Eupora at the Mexican restaurant there.
Lindsey Liles, DC will be at Teas Chiropractic Clinic several times in the next few months on Friday afternoons and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
The next date I saw posted was October 30, so you could call then to find more dates and times. Dr. Liles is presently working as Associate Chiropractor at Germantown Family Chiropractic in Gluckstadt, MS.

In just a couple weeks on November 7 there is the benefit for Waylon Logan. This will be held at the Vardaman Community Center from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
There will be an auction, spaghetti and fish plates for $10 and a gun raffle. The benefit is to help the family with the expenses of the cancer battle Waylon is in.
To make a donation you may call Anna Langford for information. Friday, October 23 is the deadline for ordering on of the T-shirts and sweatshirts.

The Calhoun City Fire Department will hold their fall fundraiser on Friday, October 23. They have been pre-selling chicken plates for Friday so you may need to contact one of the firemen to see if any are still available.
They have made some changes this year due to the covid-19 virus. No foot traffic will be allowed in the station to limit exposure to the plates, all will be wearing their masks and gloves.
The department plans to open the back bay for a drive around pickup option for ones who have prepaid. The plates will consist of a chicken half, beans, slaw, roll and dessert.

The plates are $12 per plate. They thank all for the support in the past and appreciate your continued support.
I almost hate to post our Covid-19 positive cases for Calhoun County this week they have still been increasing.
From Sunday, October 11 to Saturday, October 17 our county has increased 35 cases. From 574 to 609 in one week!!
