Essie Voyles

Essie Cindy Tutor Voyles, 71, of Vardaman passed from

this life December 7, 2020, at Diversicare of Eupora. Born

July 27, 1949, in Vardaman, she was a daughter to Bobby

Lee and Audie Beatrice Kincade Tutor.

She was a woman who loved her family and thoroughly

enjoyed the presence of her grandchildren. When Essie

was not loving on her family, she could be found hard

at work digging potatoes. This one-of-a-kind lady will be

deeply missed by those who loved her dearly.

She is survived by son Jeff Tutor, Calhoun City; brothers,

Thomas Tutor, Houlka; Bobby Tutor, Houlka; Jimmy

Tutor, Houlka; Chester Tutor, Houlka, and James (Lou)

Tutor, Pontotoc; sisters: Beatrice Bailey, Vardaman, and

Maggie (Joe) Haire, Vardaman; grandchildren, Ethan Tutor,

Calhoun City; Zachary Tutor, Calhoun City, and Audrey

McNeece, Vardaman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Otha Voyles;

parents, and brothers George Tutor, and Harrison Tutor.

Her graveside service was December 10 in Poplar

Springs Cemetery with Bro. Robert Ear Alexander officiating.
