Enjoyed hymn sing
It was a truly great hymn sing and potluck at Rocky Branch Sunday night. We had a great many visitors and y’all are welcome back any time. After some congregational hymns, we had some very special ladies who came to sing. Ms. Liza Mays did an awesome solo. You could tell she loved singing and her voice was beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing.
We also had a good trio of young ladies: Clarissa Hegwood, Grace Knight and Chelsea Lovorn. I truly enjoyed their piano, guitar and drum as well as their wonderful blend of voices.
Trina and I went to Squarefest at Calhoun City. There were some nice crafts and I found some really good sausage balls. It is so good to see people getting out and seeing each other again.
Saw the local VFW and their auxiliary placing flags around the square for Memorial Day. Thank you for beautifying our square with these flags.
Went out to Fabrics and More for more fabric. Needed some purple for one niece’s Christmas. She has a really good selection of cotton for my quilts.
I hope all will enjoy their weekend and remember why we celebrate this day. Remember those who did not make it home from wars.
