Had fun in the winter weather

Well I have a little confession to make. I played in the winter weather last week. I’m hoping some of you that have read my article for a while will get a little chuckle.
It is common knowledge that this is not my time of year. Emily was sliding down the hill on a pool float and it just looked so fun I had to try.
After a few times up and down the hill I was reminded by my back that I was no longer a teenager and had to give it up.

I will say I had a blast. With that being said, I am so glad it melted. I am not meant to be stuck in the house with no way out.
Due to the road conditions still being questionable, church was cancelled. After it stayed melting pretty good Sunday I went to visit my mom.
Brittany and the baby came over. We had a lot of fun hanging out. My mom said she was ready for grandbabies so we were nice enough to let her have them. It was a fun visit.
I am so ready to get to work. I love my over active life. My dad used to tell me I need to slow down but I love always having something to do. You know what they say.
An idle mind is the devils workshop. Life had been a lot slower this past year and I miss gatherings and getting to see others in fellowship.
I’m ready for the day that we all can get together again without a fear of getting someone sick.
