Be careful during holidays, virus is real
It’s another blessed week. I hope everyone is staying warm. I know I’m sure trying to. As Christmas is upon us I know there’s so much to get done.
I’ve done a lot of online shopping this year. I’m sure most everyone has. I feel kind of bad for all those that work for delivery companies.
This is already such a busy time without the extra. Due to covid, their workload has probably doubled. We all need to pray for them. I can’t imagine how hard they work to make sure we get our things on time.

I am so ready for the day that our lives are no longer affected by this virus. Whether we’ve had it or not, we’ve all been affected by it in some way.
I find myself getting excited when I see a cute mask now. It’s crazy when you think about it.
We had a great message Sunday morning from Bro. Jarrod Dickey. He brought the message from Ephesians 6:10-12 on spiritual warfare. If your are a born again Christian, you are in warfare.
There is a very intense battle against Satan and his demons. We need to be aware of this. Satan is our spiritual enemy.
We go under attacks in our homes, our marriages, our finances, any way he can get to us. Satan can’t hurt God so he goes after what God loves.
Divorce rates are high, abortion rates are up. Satan blinds non believers from anything spiritual. For us that believe, he tried l tries to attack our testimony so that we can’t be effective in the great commission.
Our testimony is a very big deal. To fight the warfare, we have to be strong in the Lord and the power of His might.
We can only have victory by standing strong in the Lord. Our weapons against Satan are through bible study, prayer, and obedience.
When Jesus was tempted, he responded by saying, “it is written.” We have to stay dressed in the full armor of God.
Our weapons have the power to tear down the opposition. If you’re not saved, you are an enemy of God. If you are saved, you are protected by God.
I pray everyone has a great week. Be careful during the holidays. This virus is real and needs to be taken seriously. I know everyone has a political standpoint about this but the facts are it’s real and people are dying.
We will only be with immediate family for the holidays. We’re not doing any extended family get togethers. I understand everyone wants normal but times are anything but. As these numbers rise, it is up to us to protect those we love.
If you’re looking for a home church, we invite you to join us at Mt Liberty. We ask that you wear a mask.
We have also arranged seating to the social distancing guidelines and will have temperature checks. Services begin at 11. We love you all and may God bless.
