Amy Parker of Bruce shared a “very simple recipe” that she she makes lot.
“We always have the chicken casserole at Thanksgiving and Christmas, but it’s great anytime,” she added.
Amy learned to cook from her grandmother, Betty Ward.
Some favorites she picked up from her were “from scratch” strawberry cake and apple cake.
Amy has always wanted to make her grandmother’s chocolate dumplings, but says she hasn’t tackled that one yet!

Chicken Casserole
4-6 chicken breasts boiled and shredded or use a rotisserie chicken (which makes it even quicker)
8 oz. sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 pack of Ritz crackers, crushed
2 sticks of butter melted

Mix shredded chicken, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, salt, pepper together, pour in casserole dish, top with crushed Ritz crackers, and pour melted butter over the crackers. Cook on 350° for 30 minutes uncovered.
