Three Calhoun men were arrested for manufacturing meth at a residence in Slate Springs late Monday night.

John Murphree, 38, Slate Springs, Toby Dye, 25, Bruce, and Jody Bryant, 34, Calhoun City, were arrested at Murphree’s home at 1190 Hwy 9S, Calhoun City.
All three were charged with possession of meth, possession of pre-cursors with intent and manufacture of meth.
Calhoun Deputy Dean Poynor said they were in the process of cooking when law enforcement personnel got to the home, but they also found pre-cursors to make more.
He said that charges against a female in the home could be filed after the grand jury meets.
