Lady Trojans Remain Unbeaten In Region

Wins over West Lowndes, Coffeeville and Saltillo last week kept the Lady Trojans rolling as post-season play approaches.

Bruce’s girls are undefeated in region play with only East Webster and Hamilton remaining on the schedule.

The Bruce Lady Trojans stayed unbeaten in region play with a 60-35 victory over West Lowndes last Tuesday night.
Morgan Vickery led with 16 points. Jasmine Hampton added 15 and Marquita Welch 10.
They followed that with a 72-59 victory over Coffeeville Friday night and then traveled to Saltillo Saturday earning a 60-42 win.
Lesley Wayne led the scoring there with 16 points. Hampton added 15 and Vickery 13.
The boys lost a close game against West Lowndes 62-56.
Devin Tillman led Bruce with 26 points. Rod Harris added 16 and Demetrius Evans 12.
Friday night they fell to Coffeeville 68-56.
Shaq Bush led the scoring for the Trojans with 14 points. Devin Tillman added 12, Demetrius Evans eight, and Keron Bell eight.
Bruce plays at East Webster Friday and then at Hamilton Tuesday, Feb. 2 to conclude the regular season.
They will host the region tournament beginning Feb. 8.
